Boutique Retreats for Women

Swap distractions for stillness, reconnect and nourish your feminine soul.

Personal one-to-one weekend retreats

"What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life? The world would split open."  Kathe Kollwitz by Muriel Rukeyser

A peaceful space to completely escape, relax and reconnect. from June 2022

You may be at a cross-roads with important decisions to make or find yourself worn out trying to juggle the demands of life and in need of a private space to reflect and recharge. Your own personal one-to-one retreat allows you to step out of all the demands on your time and energy, slow down and listen to the true needs of your body, mind and soul.

My weekend boutique retreats are tailored to your specific needs. You have the opportunity to work deeply with me on a one-to-one basis, exploring where you feel stuck and making a shift to more positive and conscious choices. There is an emphasis on symbolism, shadow, dreamwork, energy healing, journaling and meditation throughout my work.

Spiritual empowerment for women is a deeply felt calling. My rocky path from the male dominated world of chemical engineering and working-class tenements of Glasgow to coach and poet has been complex yet uniquely soul-making. As Carl Jung  said, "We all walk in shoes too small for us."

Harbour

The Place

I run all personal retreats from my home by the sea in the heart of historic South Queensferry, Scotland. This is a place that can really work some inner magic and make your soul sing.

You will have your own beautiful double room with a private shower and toilet, delicious vegetarian food, organic tea and coffee, opportunity to sit in the walled garden, go for long walks by the sea and Dalmeny Estate or curl up in the reading room with a good book and the affection of my two rescue cats, Archie and Macy.

Yoga classes and massage therapies are also available from local therapists.

If you are here between April and October, you can opt to take a boat trip to stunning Inchcolm Island affectionately known as 'Iona of the East.' There is easy access by bus (45 mins) or train (20 mins) to Edinburgh if you want to wander into the city and take a look at the many historic sites and galleries.

And, if you are a writer, this is a beautiful space for inspiration. A relaxed mind is a creative mind. You can stay for longer retreats if you have a piece of work you want to concentrate on. Just get in touch and we can chat about what you need.

Your three day, two night retreat includes:

Personal coaching, healing, meditation and dreamwork underpin the retreat. I am a highly experienced coach and poet, bringing spiritual direction and healing to women and men for over twenty years and facilitating over 70 retreats for CEO's. While we all have a different definition of spirituality, we cannot deny that our inner self shines or churns depending on people and situations. My spiritual approach is grounded and well-tested over thousands of hours of professional coaching and personal spiritual practice. You are in safe hands and will leave refreshed with an action plan designed to help you move forward in life with a renewed perspective.

How do I book?

If this feels a good fit for you, then let's have a chat to discuss what's going on in your life. Our discovery call will explore why the retreat is of interest to you and what you hope to get out of it. You will also have the opportunity to ask me any questions.

We'll then book in dates and I will send you an agreement and joining information.

To get started, drop me a line via email or give me a call on +44(0)7740416891.

Testimonials

There are very few moments when someone touches you very deeply in a women’s leadership programme...meeting Juliette was one of those rare moments. Her passion, motivation and ability to connect with each of us, is second to none. She created a safe environment for all of us to open up, start listening to our inner-self and increase our self-awareness... a huge impact on me personally and professionally.
