How comfortable are you with kicking up a storm?
People pleasers definitely won't like it. Sh*t stirrers love to create havoc, albeit toxic.
If you are in a leadership role, or aspire to be, then regardless of your personality traits, you need to be a disturbing force in catalysing change.
But it needs to be done in the right way.
Leaders need strong self-awareness if they are to create the right conditions for disturbing the stasis and stimulating growth.
Leaders who lack self-awareness will not be successful in taking others with them.
Lack of attunement to how others feel points to a lack of connection with one’s own emotions.The more open we are to our own feelings, the more skilled we are in reading and connecting with other’s feelings. And the more chance of bringing others with us in any change process.
